About me

Paul Charlton is an orthotist with Peacocks Medical Group and delivers orthotic
services in the North East and London. He also delivers orthotic education
across all disciplines at venues across the country. He set up and ran the multidisciplinary orthotic interest groups in London and Yorkshire before taking his
post as chair of ISPO
Having developed a special interest in adult neurology and delivered the orthotic
clinical service to the National Hospital for Neurology in Queen Square in London
he focused his research on impact of orthotic intervention on hemiplegia and
gained his MSc.
As well as being a regular presenter to BAPO conferences and publications, he
is an associate member of the association of chartered physiotherapists with
interest in Neurology (ACPIN) and the Northern Paediatric Interest Group
